"We had a great girls weekend staying at the 1799 inn. The location is great and we were able to walk out the door to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants around town. We were there during the Christmas season and the town was so nostalgic. The inn was clean and welcoming. A few things we noticed is the heating situation. It was within walking distance (less than a mile) of historic Harper's Ferry and there were two restaurants directly across the street (one of them vegan) as well as a bar. "Perfect location, plenty of space to relax. Brewery near was lovely! Harpers Ferry was cute and closes early so it was nice to be able to come home and relax and play some cards. The Barn right behind the place was sooo fun with live music until 10pm and the little cafe below the place was perfect for coffee and breakfast in the morning. Fantastic all the way around!"

"The property is a bit off its prime... the deck in the back is not like it appears in the picture. Not a terrible property, but a bit run down. I did appreciate that we were the only ones there and quietness was good for a great nights sleep. Great areas to walk the dog. The property manager was very nice and helpful. Greeted us when we arrived and made sure we got in okay."
