This unique space has a rustic feel, and while the ceilings are low, they add to the cabin's cozy ambiance. It's just a five- to 10-minute walk to the shops in Lower Town and all the historical landmarks. The listing was exactly as described and featured everything one could need for a few nights' stay—I really appreciated the electric skillet so that I had the option to cook something more substantial if I didn't want to eat out. There were definitely a lot of bugs (specifically big and small ants), but that was clearly disclosed in the listing. When there were people in the unit above, I did have to blast the white noise machine to drown out the footsteps and voices, but that's to be expected in a ground-floor unit! The temperature was perfect, and when I got chilly in the evenings, the fireplace warmed the place right up. We had some temperature issues when we arrived due to an overactive air conditioner, but she was quick to get it rectified. Parking was a little tight but at least there was parking. The room still smelled new and beds were so comfortable! Only issue was the upstairs neighbors decided to run their water starting at 5:45am and the water pipes were very noisy in the basement! It woke both me and my friend up… we tried to fall back asleep but gave up by 7 when it was clear they were not turning it off anytime soon. Other than that it was great! ##### Merica J.
