1st and best: you could not find a more helpful, professional and lovely staff.
2nd: The Scotsman is a step away from The Royal Mile: so museums, the Castle, Holyrood, restaurants, St. Giles,etc. Walking is easy. Shopping is a given.
One thing to know about The Scotsman: there are stairs. The lift is in the process of repair so there are lots of stairs.
But that being said: staff will help with all of it.

A gem of a property in a great location, right by Greyfriars Bobby and with perfect views of the castle. Really beautifully decorated, superbly clean and well equipped. Great communication from property managers too on arrival. Highly recommend and we will be back

Good location for exploring Edinburgh. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.
Apartment was very nice. Only complaint was the bed which wasn't very comfortable. Mattress could use replacing.
