« Despite a couple of issues "Homeplace" was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. I am a veteran so I have been to a number of locations. Becky answered my texts promptly. More importantly I had some difficulty locating the home. I didn't realize I was only a few blocks away. Becky answered my call and gave the directions to the house. « This estate was a perfect family gathering to celebrate a milestone birthday. The host gave important information in a timely manner and the housekeeper answered questions quickly and precisely. The place is kept up and nestled in a beautiful location. Three of the family members played golf one night. Two family members enjoyed runs and the rest explored hiking. « My husband and I stayed in two of the units in this locations, and loved both of them. We were out and about most of the time we were there so we didn’t spend much time there but they were both perfectly clean and comfortable to sleep in. Josh is great with communication and responding in a timely manner. He and his wife go above and beyond to make sure guests feel at home. We will likely be staying again if/when we make it back over that way. »

« It was a wonderful apartment to stay in. The owners were even nice to put a rollaway bed in for our little boy. It was nice and clean. The air conditioner worked fantastic. It’s also decently close to Paintsville and Prestonsburg, which was a plus. »

« The home and linens were clean, plenty of living space. The house is like walking into a time capsule of your grandmothers home. Very small bathrooms, drafty window AC units still installed in late November, old TVs. No grill outside was disappointing. Tight single stacked parking. There is another small house on the same lot with multiple vehicles coming and going, combined with the close neighbors and there is limited privacy and no outdoor space. »
