It doesn't get much better than this gorgeous townhome with fabulous views! Three bedrooms, two decks, a private garage . . . one of the finest units available at Purgatory. Attention paid to every detail in this amazing 1636 sf, 3 bedroom/ 2.5 bathroom property. This end unit has amazing windows that feature views of Purgatory ski resort and the snow-capped Engineer Mountain to the North. Included is a private, on demand shuttle service from your door to the slopes – complementary. On the main level, the kitchen, dining and living room are all open to one another created an ideal space for enjoying family and friends. Granite countertops, Alder cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a beautiful fireplace framed by stone and a wood mantel are just a few of the high-end finishes throughout. Enjoy indoor/outdoor living on the covered back deck that is overlooks the mountain resort. Upstairs you'll find the Master bedroom (King bed) is truly a suite with a soaking tub, shower, double sinks and walk-in closet. The garage will keep your car and toys safe, and out of the elements. In addition, this home is also adjacent to a community park, fishing lake, various trail network, Nordic skiing trails and facility, a family playground and thousands of acres of National Forest to explore. Pet Policy No dogs are allowed unless prearranged with the management company. There is an additional pet fee of $100 per dog per reservation. Maximum 2 dogs. Renters are responsible for their pet(s) at all times and must ensure all solid wastes have been picked up and disposed of before departure. There will be a $500 fine if there is an unauthorized pet on the property. NO Smoking anywhere on the premises. Guests will be sent a vacation rental agreement by Durango Colorado Vacations (the property manager) to e-sign at the time of booking. Note: This home does not have Air Conditioning. Most homes do come equipped with box and ceiling fans. A friendly reminder before you book your stay, is to remember we are trusted to manage independent and family-owned homes. We simply ask that you treat these homes and properties with the same respect that you would expect one to treat yours. Due to a recent uptick in unauthorized guest, pets and gatherings. We are implementing a strict "one strike" policy for any guest that are found having any unauthorized gatherings, pets or guest with them in the home. Each family member had their own set of hooks, which made it super handy for hanging up our coats and keeping our shoes organized, preventing anyone from tripping over them. Plus, the convenience of the shuttle that took us to and from the resort was a huge bonus. The garage access was fantastic too, giving us extra space to store all our gear. We had a wonderful time at this well-appointed and spotless townhome. It had everything we needed! The owners have thought of everything. We were there for a week of snow fun - and it turns out we picked the perfect week as more than 3 feet fell while were there. We could walk to Purgatory (or take the complimentary on-demand shuttle) as well as the Nordic Center (you can buy passes online) and snowshoeing trails. The gas fireplace in the living room, open kitchen and dining area were super for our snowed-in dinners. The entry way is set up for taking off snowy ski or snowshoe boots - nice and open with a big bench. The garage was also a great perk, as was the resort snowcat that cleared the driveway! One of our group wasn't skiing so he could have the skiers at the drop off site right at the base in 1-2 minutes. We did have an issue with the heater not working initially due to heavy snows blocking the flue (so heater was appropriately not turning on as a safety measure) but the management staff were VERY responsive and resolved the issue ASAP. They even docked the price for that first night due to colder than desirable temps in the home, without me having to ask.
