Accomodation had been double booked. Instead of cancelling the booking from their end the host messaged me on trivago, since I was expecting a message anyway for the login code, and you have to login to read messages I left it. Host also alerted trivago it was double booked, who did not contact me either. Drove all the way to Dunedin with 2 kids, stranded and nowhere to stay. Spent $400 to stay at scenic circle for the first night, Dunedin was booked out for the second night so we had to drive all the way home again. Spent many hours arranging activities, as well as spending money on dinner bookings all of which we could not do.

Loved our stay here - the apartment was perfect for us, we had plenty of space and the character was fab. Being so close to the beach, great cafes and restaurants was incredible and the parking space is fantastic in a busy seaside area.

Lovely beachside unit

We stayed in the Sand Dune unit. Lovely unit on beach front. Not at all noisy though you can slightly hear the neighbouring unit. Great to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by and enjoy the sound of the surf. Only stayed one night but would have loved to be able to stay longer. Ate dinner and breakfast at the Esplanade restaurant - very authentic Italian food, would highly recommend.

Beautiful and relaxing

Incredible views from both the bedroom and living area. Very comfortable and and absolutely wonderful and relaxing place to stay. This was the perfect place for us to enjoy the Dunedin/Otago area for a few days. We'd absolutely love to stay here again.

Property had a bizarre bathroom set up. The toilet was in a separate room with no sink to wash one's hands after nature had called. We had to walk over to the opposite side of the apartment to a different room that had a shower and sink in it. This was very inconvenient and obviously not very sanitary. Apartment was cold and took quite a while to heat up. Luckily we are used to heat pumps so we understood this. Parking is only good for a smaller car. Our rental fit in without issue (Ford Puma) but larger cars could be a problem. There is a small parking lot next door but the spaces are pretty narrow and the lot is often full.

This place was amazing. We loved the epic view. It was super clean, warm and cozy with the heater ready and waiting when we arrived. Very well equipped. Great location too. Easy parking right underneath. And good communication

An excellent view of the ocean! There is scaffolding up at the moment but work must be done! A lovely size, lovely room, and the best view of St Clair we have had.

One of the best apartment we have stayed in. Fantastic location over looking the ocean. Could hear the waves in the apartment. The view was amazing. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. parking underneath the apartment was good. Apartment was lovely decorated and fully equipped. Would highly recommend *****

There was no communication about how to get into property. Fortunately I was with my daughter who lives here and who contacted the person running the apartments and got the code for the key box. This would have been stressful if I’d been on my own after travelling night and day from the UK. Apart from this glitch it was a lovely place to stay

A must stay

It was like stepping into a little piece of Australia, we absolutely love the decor and Oenny made the self-check in process so easy. Her communication was excellent and you could not get more beachfront if you tried. Already looking forward to returning
