Built on the site of one of Broughty Ferry’s many Victorian mansions, you’ll be close to the seafront and beach, shops and transport links. Pop down to the waterfront to spot dolphins or unwind on your balcony watching the light change on the River Tay. Families will love the excellent children’s playpark at nearby Castle Green and beach. On the seafront the striking Broughty Castle is well worth a visit. Dating back to 1490, it originally protected the Tay estuary, and now houses a museum which explains the history of this pretty fishing village. Broughty Ferry train station is just minutes away. Plus, being just four miles from the city of Dundee, there are excellent road, rail and air links making for straightforward travel. The property is close to local bus routes and National Cycle Network Route 1 giving access to coastal cycling routes. The sight on the shores of Loch Lomond is magnificent. The property is well appointed and maintained. As and older person who uses a cane, I appreciated the easy access and shower. The place is full of amenities and the kitchen is very modern. I would give it 5 stars with these except ions. The shower in the bedroom did not maintain any level of hot water. I was in for less than 2 minutes before it went totally cold. I couldn’t even wash the suds out of my hair.
