Clean room, spacious pool and hot tub area. Usually stay in “better” parts of Duluth…but this hotel was reasonable in pricing and ended up being a nice surprise. Would not walk around much outside, but I felt safe in the parking lot and in the hotel. Clean, nice breakfast, good coffee.

The Willard Munger Inn
Very clean room and reasonably priced. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. Location was perfect for access to hiking. Overall a very good experience.

Canal Park Lodge
We loved sitting by the fire at night on the patio looking at Lake Superior. The breakfast was good and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The Suites Hotel at Waterfront Plaza
Check in lady was less then friendly. Made you feel like you were bothering her. Didn't mention you have to use the room key to get on the elevator. Only after standing there for a bit and another couple staying there came to the elevator did we find out. They weren't told either. Hot breakfast was ...
