Loved this place. Hotel people and driver waited several hours to pick me up and let me in my room, due to a weather flight delay.Nice, friendly, professional. Nice room, great location. I do want to point out that the European idea of a first floor apt is different from an Americans. My first floor apt was reached by a set of stairs, but it wasn’t a problem. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic service and beautiful room
Had an amazing stay here in Dubrovnik. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful checking us in, supported us with an early check-in, and gave us a lot of details of things to see while we were in the area. The room was neat! Very well maintained and clean, and pretty stylish. Location could not be better.

Great Room and Great Location
Check-in was quite easy and straightforward once I located the hotel. The staff at Reception with very nice and helpful and showed me to my room. They were always polite and pleasant throughout my stay. The room was perfect for my needs, with everything you would expect. The room was very clean and fresh looking. I stayed on the first floor, sometimes I might hear people talking as they walked up and down the street outside the hotel. But I had also read this in a previous review, this didn’t bother me, and it just seem to add to the whole experience. The hotel was very centrally located, with everything just a few minutes walk away. If I was to go back to Dubrovnik again I would definitely try and stay here again. Value for money, this hotel was outstanding.

The hotel is located on a flat level in the old town. It was easily accessible with luggage. It is walkable to all sites. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The amenities within the room itself were great. I felt as being at home. I really enjoyed my stay.

Great little gem in the heart of Old Town Dubrovni
I traveled my way down the Croatian coast with Dubrovnik as my last stop. The staff at the hotel werevery friendly and accommodating. They help carry my monster suitcase up the stairs and allowed me to store after check out on my last day as.my ferry to Italy was very late in the day.

The hotel is very well located in the old town. Although it is close to all the action, the area where the hotel is located is relatively quiet at night. The hotel is small with lots of character. The room was a good size and very clean. Nice decor which complements the character of the building. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice place next to old city gate
Location is very convenient- just a couple of streets next to one of the main gates to the old city. My room was at the top floor- no elevator- however the reception was very kind to help me up with luggage. The room was very nice and also clean. The only negative was there was a bad drain smell coming from the bathroom, i had to keep the window open the whole time.

Great little hotel style stay within the walls of the old city... Room is small but cozy my only complaint was the bed it was not comfortable at all and my girlfriend said the same thing so it wasn't just me. Otherwise this place is a great place to stay for a few nights while exploring old town.

The location is excellent right in the old town the guys at reception is very friendly would definitely stay again next time in dubrovnik had the attic room which was fine for me but if someone was not that moble it might be difficult

My wife and I spent four nights in the Art Arthur Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is really well-located in the Old Town, just a minute's walk from all of the main attractions and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, allowing us to check in early and giving us a warm welcome. They had provided instructions on how to find the hotel - which was very helpful - and at check in gave us tips on what to see and where to find good food. The room was well presented and cosy, with a good size bathroom. It was scrupulously clean and the decoration gave it a lot of character. Being at the other end of the main avenue through the Old Town, it was very quiet at night and the shutters kept out the street lights. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay again if we ever returned to Dubrovnik.

Comfortable Stay In A Perfect Location
Hotel was easy to find and near the Pile Gate, ideal if you have heavy luggage. Location is in a prime spot in the old town next to everything. Check in was quick and easy. The host was a very nice guy, friendly and helpful. He pointed out all the must see attractions for the town, carried my luggage up the stairs for me and showed me to my room. The room was clean, well presented and fully equipped. When stuck the host even helped me find a place to get some nice dairy free ice cream which was a big plus for me 🙂 Overall it's a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend.

The location is awesome! Its in the heart of the old city. Very convenient and safe. The room was small but clean and comfortable. I guess they can't do anything about the size of the rooms, they just have to fit it in a centuries old buildings there. Our only problem was the key, they only gave us one set of key. My partner had to lock me in the room when he wanted to go out and its not safe at all. I can't open the door from inside without the key. Overall, It was great and I will highly recommend it to friends and family. We had a great time!

Perfect two-nights stay.
This is a perfectly located hotel in the old city, close to the gate, which is a plus, given that cars are not allowed to enter and the luggage needs to be carried in. Clean and simple with everything you need at a reasonable price. Service desk is very accommodating.

Very well located. Just few minutes from Pile Gate. Easy to carry bags as no climbing required. Some apartments can be very hard to reach with luggage. Room is small but manageable. Well maintained. Hosts are very friendly and nice. Just one request to them, shampoo and shower get should be provided by default.

Do not stay unless you know this is not a hotel
We were so excited about staying within the walls of Dubrovnik that we forgot to read the fine print. Do not believe this is a hotel, you will get a room, some towels and after that you’re on your own. There is no way to get fresh towels, not even by paying extra, wet towels are really uncomfortable after going to the beach. The hotel staff is either friendly or rude, depending on who’s there that day. Your basics such as: shampoo, soap, fresh towels, toilet paper are missing, so you have to go to the market and get those items for your room. The place operates more like a hostal. Also the checkout is at 10!!!!! In a town where everything’s at a different pace I can’t believe there’s no late checkout. The checkout guy was really rude. We didn’t want to waste time talking to him. So we just checked out and left !

I can’t say enough good things about my stay. The room was lovely, very clean, great location from the Pile gate, someone there to check me in and explain the keys, tv, heating, etc. and when I left a lady there to take my keys. I absolutely loved living there and was so happy.

BUT the airport transfer never showed up (we got a lame excuse and not an apology) AND we texted and emailed and called to get more toilet paper and towels and finally had to track someone down to get service. In the heart of old town and it’s on the flat street, so you don’t need to drag heavy suitcase on a steep staircase. The room is spacious and well equipped. It made my stay very comfortable and convenient.

The room was really cosy and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The apartment is located really centrally and the only small complaint we had was the noise. We were on the first floor so we could hear the people in the street, the guests above us (wooden floors), and the staff on the ground floor. We were awoken a number of times but it didn't impact our stay much.

Small room but very convenient location
We spent 3 nights here in Nov 2018. We had 2 heavy cases so were very pleased to discover the property was very close to the main old town gate. The host carried our bags up the narrow stairs to our 1st floor room. It was small but nicely decorated and well equipped. It did not have a kitchenette tho. In a very quiet alley. We were very comfortable there and would recommend it.

It is very close to the pile gate and NO STAIRS required to reach the hotel. However, our hotel room was in 3rd floor, would need to carry the luggages up n down. But the staff is very kind to help. Room was small but cosy.

Nice small apartment inside the walled city right by the Pile Gate. Reception staff extremely helpful. There's no bag store for early arrivals but they can recommend a cafe that has free storage if you go there for breakfast.

Cutest little apartment in Dubrovnik
The room was so cute! Decorated absolutely beautifully and very clean. Very close to restaurants, shops and all attractions in the center of old town Dubrovnik. We used the luggage storage services and the staff gave us maps and recommendations for dinner and where the closest supermarket was.

Cute and perfect location
Easy check-in, even was able to check-in early :) I had the top room with a single bed (there are only 4 rooms total). It was on the 4th floor and there is no elevator, so keep that in mind. But that did not bother me at all. The room was small and had low ceilings, but it was super charming! Location is perfect, super convenient.

Great, updated room on top floor.
I stayed on the top floor. Super cute place and very friendly staff. The location can't be beat! Right in the middle of old Town. The top floor has a slanted roof so space can get tight, but its an old building. If you’re tall, you might hit your head a lot. Otherwise great place!
