We stayed at an apartment very high up and it was difficult to get our suitcases up there and down but the location couldn’t be beat and it was pretty quiet there. Great apartment. Would definitely recommend!!

Pros: The room was clean. The staff (even far away from the property) was responsive. Cons: To get to the room you have to climb hundreds of stairs. The building, where the room is located, is very stinky. The smell of rotting fish and cigarettes is overwhelming. In the afternoon, sun is beaming at the room but the airconditioning isn’t powerful enough to keep the room cool.

Dear Guest,Thank you for complementing our staff. Very sorry abut the inconvenience with the building its self. As stated at the property we are responsible only for the maintenance of the units under our care, not for the rest of the building. As it is in old town center, with a large number of tenants, and listed as Unesco heritage site under conservation board protection, upgrades to the rest of the building is a birokratical nightmare. We hope that the view and the condition of our property made up for this situation. Kind regards

Amazing view of the city and wall, but in a quieter area of old town. A bit of a climb but nothing crazy. And a great proximity to Pile Gate where just outside you can catch the city bus wherever you need to go, including the ferry port. Super convenient!

Amazing place with incredible view of old town. A lot of stairs to get to the apartment proper as well as within the building to get to the room. The property itself isn’t as fully maintained (though that gives it a certain charm), though the room is excellent and modernized. Staff were friendly, responsive and helpful

Nice room in not so nice building.
Overall we were somewhat disappointed with the stay. The room itself was clean and seemed newly renovated which was nice. Communication was also easy. No complaints there. However, to get to the building you had to climb a large number of stairs (hundreds) which was difficult with 30 kg + of suitcases. In addition to this the rooms are inside a large old and rundown building with many other tenants. Was a bit eerie in the late evening in the dark. You also need to lock/unlock three separate doors to get to the room. Was not expecting that and was thus disappointed with the stay. If you bare this in mind the room was nice with all necessary amenities. And the reception were very nice.

Beaucoup d’escaliers à monter pour se rendre, mais la vue offerte de la chambre est grandiose! Chambre neuve et très propre, avec un personnel accueillant et accommodant.
