The immediate Area of LIVStudent Dublin was less touristy and had some good pubs (Cobblestones has good live music, Walsh's Pub had great atmosphere, bartenders, and friendly locals) and restaurants (Lavanda, Wuff). We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. The room was standard but good enough for staying in for sleeping, the sink was leaking, the tap was cracked and we got soaked in the rain and the radiator didn't even turn on. "One of the worst hostels I’ve been to. Rooms are not that clean, there’s no cold water, no curtains on the windows in the room, you’re basically paying for a bed and that’s it."

"It's very central location, though sketchy enough late at night.. like any major city Dublin despite its relaxed vibe has a drug problem and to be aware of your soroundings is important.. Take common sense care and you should enjoy your visit. I stayed for one night in a small single room ,with a sink in the room .. bed was comfortable , staff are very friendly, and despite that morning no hot water in shower. Dublin is now very expensive to visit and with some extra effort in maintenance...

Great recommendations for couple breakfast places around corner. Convenient for on/off buses and Temple Bar area. Secure access after 5pm. Highly recommend for Dublin visit. "

"It was fantastic here. Small but good enough for what we needed. The loveseat was sat out & tv too high on the wall but otherwise we loved it. Wish there was more lighting in the bathroom. Really wish we had booked this for our entire time in Dublin. The staff here was fantastic & so helpful. Great little pub across the street as well. "
