Apartment had cockroaches, building and apartment has strong smell of spices. Parking is advertised as available but is actually for an additional daily fee. Anyhow what really was a no no for me is the cockroaches, which is what made the stay terrible, as a hotel that should be controlled, unless they have a cleanliness issue.

Extremely rude reception staff

The entrance is in the car park and had a strong sewage smell. Once in the hotel is was better and clean enough. However, my wife made this booking in my name with her credit card as security. The reception staff cancelled my booking as it was not my card, although payment was supposed to be taken at the hotel usu g my card with me present My wife called from UK and spoke to them they agreed to accept my card as the booking was in my name. However the next morning the new reception staff said my booking was cancelled and i had to pay new rate as they had no note saying existing rate would be honoured. They actually said pay it or leave! Clearly they just wanted a booking made directly cutting out agents and charging more for the same! I would not stay there ever again after such a huge issue being made that could have and actually was resolved

Pathetic experience with abysmal service levels

The front desk does not even understand the meaning of the word Customer Service. This hotel is not fit to be listed on any E-commerce website. Nasty fights with customers over trivial issues are common. It's best to avoid this hotel if you are looking for a comfortable stay in Dubai.

I was conveniently located near everything. Great size of rooms we rented 2 bedroom apartment and it was great. Hotel need extrema cleaning in the bathroom they have mold and out dated. Water press of the shower's are so low that it will take you a while to take shower.

No longer a nice place to stay

This is no longer the Al Manar Hotel that I used to book rooms for stay years ago. I checked in on the 23rd of November for an 9 nights stay. I called room service three times and after 1 hour my requested item was delivered. Room service is very slow. Cooking range cannot be used and washing machine is defective. Very poor maintenance. Room service is not prompt. No longer a nice hotel to stay. This used to be a good hotel years ago.

J'ai choisi cet hôtel pour la proximité des endroits où aller et parce qu'il y avait une cuisinette complète. Par contre, le four et la plaque chauffante ne fonctionnaient pas. Donc, pas de repas à faire possible. Nulle part, dans l'hôtel cet équipement était en état de marche. Donc, fausse publicité sur cet aspect. J'ai dû laisser de la nourriture sur place. Pour le reste, tout allait très bien y incluant le service attentionné.

A very pleasant stay.

Had a 3 day stay while exploring Dubai. Apartment had everything we needed for self-catering. Nice to have free underground parking. Fast internet. Very friendly staff. Easy to get to areas of Dubai and lots of grocery stores etc within walking distance.

My parents are staying in this property and they have nothing to say but praise. Staff have been very family and helpful because my parents are their medical treatment for my father. They love the rooms, mother love the kitchen area and the rmtiry structure of the hotel.

Arrived early & had to wait 2 hours for room & got upgraded to two bedroom but it was of no benefit to us. Huge area with kitchen but it did not have pots etc. did not need lounge area. The pool area ok but did not use. Close to airport was only reason we stayed here. Nice local restaurants in the area.

Poor customer care

You get what you pay for....Rooms are spacious but poorly equipped - had to ask for towels, bath/shower mats, fixing of the A/C (although these were fixed eventually), and then on check out charged for broken glasses which we were not responsible for we presume caused by the cleaner. Some items (eye medicine in fridge), airplane headrest, USB drive items were accidentally left in the room from visit previous just 5 days earlier - hotel staff claim there was nothing left behind, so could not return any of them. Very poor show.
