Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Drimovci?
The best area to stay in Drimovci is near the Kravica Waterfalls, as this is the primary attraction and offers the most convenience for visitors.

The area directly surrounding the Kravica Waterfalls is the main hub for visitors. It's a natural park setting with walking paths leading to the waterfalls and swimming areas. There are a few local eateries and cafes near the main entrance, superb for a meal or a drink after exploring. The falls themselves are a series of cascades over travertine rock, creating natural pools ideal for swimming.

Couples often find staying close to the waterfalls ideal for a relaxing and nature-focused trip. You're just a short walk from the main attraction, allowing for early morning or late afternoon visits when it's less crowded. The natural beauty of the area provides a peaceful backdrop for a romantic escape.

For families, staying in this area is also highly convenient. The proximity to the waterfalls means less travel time with children, and the natural pools offer a wonderful opportunity for kids to swim and play in a beautiful outdoor setting.
When is the best time to go to Drimovci?
The best time to visit Drimovci is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather, with comfortable temperatures that are ideal for exploring the natural beauty and outdoor activities around Drimovci. You'll avoid the peak heat of summer and the colder, potentially wetter days of winter. The countryside is particularly picturesque during these shoulder seasons, with lush greenery in spring and rich colours in autumn.

For those interested in outdoor pursuits like hiking, cycling, or exploring the Kravice Waterfalls, these months provide excellent conditions without the larger crowds often seen in mid-summer. The water levels at the waterfalls are also typically good during late spring.

If you're planning a more relaxed trip focused on local culture and enjoying the peaceful surroundings, these times also offer a more tranquil experience.
