Our biggest suggestion: Do not waste your money staying in this building, but especially this unit.The only positive things about this place were. 1.Location was convenient for visiting Detroit and it was a cute area near the lake. 2 When issues arised the host was so kind and quick to answer in attempt to help. 3. It was decorated cute/cozy. We loved the projector when actually able to enjoy it. Comfy bed too! My husband and I truly wanted to leave a positive review but the longer we were there the worst things got. It was 2 sleepless nights in a building that should NEVER be listed as a vacation rental. Definitely not handicap accessible. Uneven stairs and flooring. The walls are so thin you can hear neighbors breathing too loud or their tv or them calmly speaking near a wall. Its like they have to compete with each other on who can hear their entertainment more. Our 2nd day there from 8pm-3am all we heard was nothing but apparent downstairs neighbors yelling, throwing/breaking things and having coitus, another neighbor's snoring and a 2am concert of what sounded like a bad musical adult film being filmed. All of that heard after we put headphones in and banging on the wall we heard it coming from along the floor.Cigarette smell fills the unit in the evening as well and honestly many things in this unit were broken (i.e. towel and toilet paper holders, the bed frame and the ceiling had a weird hole in the shower).
