"This property is an absolute gem! Great location, fully equipped kitchen down to the details ie. olive oil, oven mitts, fruit bowl, etc. Douro river 5 min walk, little square nearby with restaurants, cafes, bakery, pasteis de nata, musicians perform at night. Staff attentive and responsive. We have 2 kids and weren’t able to do the wine tours, but the wine institute is two buildings down so we were able to do tasting by the glass there and enjoyed the quick intro. "Lovely quiet garden area with pool for relaxing. Light airy mezzanine apartment with garden view. Few more coat hangers needed and coasters to protect furniture from hot drinks. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby street but not noisy, lovely few days stay."

"Expedia also needs to be more transparent about what floor an apt is on. Fifth floor walk up was revealed by the manager on her shrill call, saying not her job to inform “agency” of such information. The apt was ok the experience was dismal. "

"The check in process had a few bumps, but I think it was due to not being able to receive the communications from the property since I was traveling that day; which is critical, since no one is on site and has to meet you there to let you in and get you checked in. Once we got past that hurdle, the place was great and the location is phenomenal, very close to everything per."
