Spacious and comfortable business/ conference hote
Nice and comfortable hotel for business trips, room was large, in good condition, very quiet. Only criticism was lack of choice in restaurant and one has to ask for the room to be made up , which I only realized when I came back late from a business meeting and had not been explained when checking in. Other issue was that they charged more than indicated on the Hotels.com booking, which I only found out by chance - they did refund me though but it could have easily been overlooked. There is not a great deal to do in Hagen though..

The suite was fantastic and beautifully decorated. However all the personnel did not speak English and the breakfast was to go (because of COVID-19) and they could not accommodate special diet (gluten free) although I informed them at check-in. But overall a nice hotel where I would gladly stay again.

Very nice hotel and great staff.
Very nice hotel with a great staff. I enjoyed the food as well. Although there is a restaurant and bar on site, there is limited options within walking distance should you want more variety.

Great for business not ideal for weekend getaway.
Visually pleasing hotel in pleasant surrounding, quite comfortable room but no air con, and the location is a bit off the beaten track.

The hotel is very nice, very clean, and the staff is outstanding!!! I was there for one night for business and would have loved to find something in walkable distance to do, see, small downtown are etc., but this hotel seems pretty secluded. Very quiet

Really good value hotel. Quiet location, despite being close to the motorway. Excellent breakfast. Great to be able to check in late after the German Supercup. Only downside was that it was difficult to find.

Good value, relaxing
This was our fifth stay at the Arcadeon, a conference hotel with courtyards built around ancient trees in a quiet rural environment. The rooms are large, each with a big desk and a spacious bathroom with a comfortable built-in bath tub and shower. The breakfast buffet reminds visitors that German breakfast is traditionally considered the largest meal of the day. We will certainly come again.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Arkadeon, aber diesmal nicht zufrieden nit der Sauberkeit suf den Zimmer. Toilette noch schmutzig. Beim Frühstück hat zum 2 Feiertag Lachs gefehlt. In der Bar gab es nur wenig Auswahl an Getränken, bzw. keine Cocktails. Für uns als Familie nicht zufriedenstellend. Sorry

Ik vond de prijs- kwaliteit verhouding niet kloppen! De kamers waren heel warm. Raam kon wel open maar moest gordijn ook open blijven en de hele nacht hebben wij van buiten een zoem geluid gehoord! Badkamer is mooi, maar douchekop blijft niet op z’n plaats!

Alles ok.
Wie sooft ist: ist der Laden optisch perfekt durchgestylt, sind die Erwartungshaltungen automatisch so hoch, daß sie durch das Personal kaum erfüllt werden können. Beim Check In mal 10 min zu warten (obwohl kein anderer Gast da ist) geht schon mal in Ordnung, aber nicht wenn gefühlt 5-6 Mitarbeiter minütlich an einem vorbeilaufen und sagen, daß es gleich losgeht. Das Zimmer war, wie das ganze Hotel, sehr chic. Leider ist das Queen Bett viel zu weich, das W-LAN schwach und die TV-Fernbedienung ging wenig bis gar nicht. Alles Kleinigkeiten, wäre da nicht der sichtbar eigne hohe Anspruch. Auf der Rechnung befand sich ein vorher nie angesprochenes Business-Paket für Parkplatz und WLAN.?. 5 Euro gab es, weil ich keine Lust auf Diskussionen hatte. Nur am Rande: beide Parkplatz-Schranken standen offen, es hätte genügend kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten gegeben und WLAN braucht kein Mensch, der sich so ein Hotel leistet, da er höchstwahrscheinlich `ne Flat hat. Egal. Das Barbecue am Abend und das Frühstücksbüffet passte dann wieder zur optischen Ankündigung.

Modernes Hotel
Das Zimmer war groß und gut eingerichtet. Das Arcadeon ist ein verkehrsgünstig gelegenes modernes Tagungshotel, das auch für private Feiern gute Räumlichkeiten anbieten kann. Frühstücksbüffet war qualitativ sehr gut.
