For a relaxing holiday, we offer you a single-storey, comfortable, non-smoking apartment that is characterized by high-quality and modern facilities. It is comfortably and lovingly furnished. The apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed + baby bed (available) and 1 bedroom with a loft bed and a single bed. Spacious, light-flooded living-dining room, 42-inch flat-screen TV, DVD player, stereo, DVD, CD, games for young and old, play corner and various books are available. The modern kitchen invites you to cook! The large bright bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bathtub. It has been completely modernized and adapted for senior citizens and wheelchairs! The large, partially covered terrace with garden furniture, a beach chair & a sandpit for our little friends, an unobstructed view of nature or the dike invites you to relax after a walk on the beach.

Ein ordentliches Quartier in schöner Umgebung
Wir haben die Zeit in Dornumersiel genossen.
Das Objekt liegt direkt an der Straße zwischen Bensersiel und Norddeich. Das bringt natürlich einen gewissen Verkehrslärm mit sich, den man auch im Haus wahrnimmt. Dafür ist man in alle Richtungen recht zentral gelegen.
Die Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt. Leider funktionierten die Liegestühle für die Terrasse einfach nicht, sie ließen sich nicht so montieren, dass das Rückenteil arretiert blieb. Terrassenstühle, -tisch und der Strandkorb sind in dieser Saison noch nicht gepflegt worden, da waren noch zahlreiche Hinterlassenschaften der Saatkrähen und Möwen drauf. Konnten wir aber natürlich sauber wischen. Betten und Sofaecke sind bequem, die Küche gut eingerichtet. Ein Gefrierfach gibt es allerdings nicht, anders als im Inserat dargestellt; das führte dazu, dass wir Unmengen an Speiseeis in einem Rutsch verzehren mussten. Die Kinder haben sich gefreut...
Das WLAN ist schwach auf der Brust, ich selbst bin lieber über meine mobilen Daten ins Netz gegangen als darüber, weil es mit vier Clients offenbar schon überfordert war.
Dass der Bauer in der Zeit unserer Anwesenheit viel auf dem Feld direkt vor der Terrasse gearbeitet hat, ist nicht dem Quartier anzulasten und hat uns kaum gestört. Gefragt haben wir uns allerdings, warum er bevorzugt in den späteren Abendstunden (zw. 21-23:00 Uhr) bei voller Beleuchtung das Feld geeggt hat und nicht einfach tagsüber.
Es soll aber kein negativer Eindruck entstehen: Es war insgesamt alles in Ordnung, und wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit!

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit kleinen Einschränkungen
Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und hat viele Extras für Familien mit Kindern. Die Begrüßung war herzlich und informativ.
An der einen oder anderen Stelle fehlt der Ferienwohnung jedoch die Liebe zum Detail.
Bei unserer Ankunft war z. B. eine Deckenlampe im Bad defekt und hing herunter, was eigentlich sofort auffallen müsste. Auch der Duschkopf war verspakt. In die Schränke in den Schlafzimmern kann man kaum eigenen Kleidung einräumen, da diese gefüllt mit Handtüchern und Bettwäsche sind. In vorherigen Bewertungen wurde auf die nicht gut reinigende Spülmaschine hingewiesen. Auch dieses stellten wir fest. Nach einem kurzen Blick in die Maschine war der Defekt sofort erkennbar und konnte von uns behoben werden (Wasserversorgung zum oberen Spülarm war lose). Wenn solche Bewertungen auftauchen, wäre es schön, wenn darauf reagiert wird. Leider war dadurch viel Geschirr in den Schränken nicht sauber.
Gefreut haben wir uns über diverses Infomaterial über Aktivitäten in der Umgebung. Leider fehlt hier eine Sortierung und vieles ist schon veraltet und nicht mehr aktuell.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Ausstattung. Barrierefreiheit in der Wohnung ist absolut gegeben. Der Zugang zur Wohnung könnte für Menschen im Rollstuhl einfacher sein.

Ein schöner Familienurlaub am Meer
Wir waren von der Größe und der Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung überwältigt. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell, modern eingerichtet und die Fahrt zum Meer dauert nur 4 Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit, herzlichen Dank!
