Clean, comfortable, good food in the restaurant. Breakfast OK (but not better than OK). No AC and right beside train tracks and busy road so on hot nights there will be some noise in your room. Parking was full when we arrived due to busy restaurant. Had to park across the road at the train station until parking was available at the inn.

Nice, clean room, very good supply of hot drinks ingredients. Everything you need for short break. Could do with a new shower head, but was ok. Restaurant got busy, glad we booked. Lovely restaurant setting, food was really good. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. A really good location for exploring that part of Dorset.

On arrival, mid afternoon on a Saturday, bar tables were not cleared or wiped plus the floor could of done with a good sweep, on booking in we found the room to be of a good standard, we had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent, but again on getting refill drinks we had to ask for the used glasses to be removed. Coming down to breakfast Sunday morning, everything was great, the young man on duty making sure tables was cleared and wiped, breakfast items replenished and fresh coffee maintained, Well done him, Sundays roast was good but Monday morning things could of been a lot better, I asked if there was any tea spoons, and one was produced from behind the bar, sadly breakfast items were not replenished , and the area was not kept clean or tidy!!! Well done to the guy who did breakfast Sunday morning, 30/8

Very clean comfortable room, although it smelt like somebody had smoked in it. The area is surprisingly quiet considering it is next to a mainline railway station. Continental breakfast was a little disappointing as the bread was low quality and there was no plain yoghurt and the choice of fruit was also somewhat limited.
