It wasn’t an issue for us since we had had dinner in Taitung City. The hotel had a couple of parking spots in front we were able to use, friendly check-in (though I don’t think the proprietor speaks much English), and were able to use an elevator to get to our 3rd floor room. Our room was clean, spacious, and uniquely decorated with a mural and painted headboards.
