"Wow, it is what you see in the pictures! It's the perfect layout for couples and families with an en-suite bathroom attached to each bedroom. And then the pool and the great room are a central meeting point for when you want to be together. Olmar checked us in and helped us find the place as it was a little difficult to find since we missed the gate entry point (3rd on the right on the main dirt road) so the pin location seemed to be on the road above the property. But Olmar was very helpful. We didn't have a 4WD, but for sure it is recommended due to steepness of the roads. We made it up there with a 2WD van but it was difficult when dry. Then when wet, it was impossible to come up the main road on one day so we did have someone tow us through the main hill section. We did see monkeys high in the trees in the front of the house and we often could hear the howler monkeys. Everything about the house was perfect, all the amenities, plus the great ocean views from 3 of the bedrooms, back deck and pool! Beds were comfortable and the decor was perfect. Our whole party gave this place a 10 and we'd all stay here again! "

"Our stay at Pura Vida was excellent. The house was clean, neat and tidy. Rooms were very comfortable and private with an excellent taste on decoration on each room. The house also was well equipped. "What an incredible villa, pool, and beautifully landscaped property, with a wonderful ocean view! We had an amazing time at this beautiful property, and Janet and Doug ( owners) kindly guided us to the villa, and gave us a thorough tour. They have thought of everything you could ever need for your stay. We spent so much time in the beautiful pool, and were visited by lots of wildlife, which we loved. We saw lots of monkeys in the trees around the pool, and the howler monkeys would wake us in the mornings. So many toucans and parrots! The location of the villa is wonderful too. The drive up is fairly easy, and it is close to Dominicalito Beach, a great yoga studio, and the Kunjani Cafe. Juli ( concierge) was incredible! She booked us for horseback riding on the beach for sunset, and several dinner reservations. So very helpful. We will definitely be back to stay again! Thank you Janet and Doug!"
