The host was very welcoming and great to chat with in the morning, we had a great breakfast with homemade bread and spreads from some of the nearby local farmers. The room was clean and comfortable. "It’s important to remember it’s a hostel so the bathrooms are separate and walking distance outdoors. The rooms are clean and the staff is excellent and very helpful. We didn’t have time to eat dinner but the prices at the hostel are extremely reasonable compared to other restaurants so it’s worth eating there instead of other places. The breakfast is typical Scandinavian so think continental with yogurt, bread, fruit, lunchmeat and cheeses."

"Straightforward hotel room, spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a modern shower room. Residents at the motel also benefit from the facilities of the neighbouring Dombås Hotel, which is where you get breakfast (a buffet with a wide choice of food). You also have the option of a good value buffet dinner at the hotel, though if that’s not your thing, there are two or three restaurants close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent choice whether you are arriving by road (ample parking) or train (short walk from station) and well positioned for exploring the local area."
