Liked the location and proximity to Mount Airy and local vineyards. Loved the cheese that the host had for sale at their farm store. Cabin had three different hvac units with no issues while we were there in December. Would really consider going back and doing a summer stay. The moment you walk in the front door the expansive grrat room with just an incredible view. We were there for my son’s wedding and We had my family of 13 including 5 (7&under) and had my DIL’s family of 7 come over for a rehearsal dinner and there was plenty of room for everyone. The little boys loved seeing the cows and goats and the 2 year old would go out and call to them and they would call back and he thought that was the best thing. The host Tara was wonderful and answers anything you need in just a few minutes. Even brought us extra firewood at 9pm. I would recommend this place to any large family who would love the farm/rustic life. The cabin is wonderful and beds were good. I promise this is completely worth the experience And so wished we would have stayed longer and be able to go visit the farm and learn more about the goat milk products.
