We had a false fire alarm in the middle of the night! We got the Junior Suite with free access to the spa, but the reception staff told us we had to pay for it. She was not well informed. It was not until another staff member told us the next day that we did have free access to the spa. The hotel compensated us for the false fire alarm by telling us at check-out that no charges would be taken for the items in the bar. There was no point, as we didn't take anything and we were only told at check-out. They could have told us before check-out if they really intended to compensate us.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, staff is extremely friendly, and the cafe/restaurant is gorgeous. Highly recommend the rooms that have balconies with the view of opera house. The metro stop is just steps away from the front door.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff are attentive and beautifully presented. The breakfast is varied and scrumptious with dietary requirements catered for. The afternoon wine and cheese is a lovely touch as well. The evening meal was gorgeous and singers are also very good.
A stylish hotel close to the centre of town in walking distance to most attractions and the metro.
