DEWEY Beach Block Cottage on the Best Block in Dewey!

2BR/1BA beach cottage is in the heart of Dewey on the Ocean Block (Saulsbury Street) and is perfect for a couple or small family. House is about 250 feet to the beach. Neat and very clean and professionally cleaned between renters.

Each bedroom has queen bed, (one is Temperpedic) along with a queen sleeper sofa in living room for an occasional guest. There is also a cover for the couch for your use which is easily laundered in the washer/dryer. Maximum comfortable occupancy is 4 but permitted to 6 (owner discretion). The outside shower is wonderful for removing sand. And the screened porch with vaulted ceiling is a wonderful spot to relax for morning coffee or at the end of the day. There is a full kitchen and both a regular coffee maker and large Kuerig.

Great little cozy home! (It is small-500 sq ft. ).Children can walk to the beach - No busy roads to cross. Many repeat & satisfied customers for years. Please also check our other beautiful and updated Dewey properties on the bay side which is are larger and are also listed on VRBO #2326035 and #286448.

Please bring all blankets/ comforters along with linens for beds, towels, dish towels and paper products/ trash bags consumables. Pillows, mattress pads, bedspreads are provided.

Minutes (walking) to restaurants, bars, fast food, coffee shop, town park, bay, shopping and entertainment. One mile to the Rehoboth Boardwalk and Funland with very reasonably priced rides for kids. Pick up the Jolly Trolley into Rehoboth at the corner. Park your car and never move it. Rehoboth Shopping Outlets 1-2 miles away. Lots of fine dining in Rehoboth. One to two off street parking at house.

Check in is 3:00 PM, Check Out is 10 AM.

Gas grill provided, propane not guaranteed. However, if you need to pickup propane, we will reimburse with a receipt. Please leave the grill in clean condition, There is a wire brush in the barbecue. Also no smoking/ vaping of any substance inside the home.

MUST BE OVER 25 TO RENT. NO RENTALS TO UNSUPERVISED HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. NO PETS- NO EXCEPTIONS. Owner reserves right to charge higher Security on senior weeks. Renter pays credit card foreign transaction fees.

Great place for a relaxing vacation

My friends and I stayed at this cottage for a beach weekend getaway. The location is amazing, being within walking distance of several event spaces, bars, restaurants, and most importantly, it's right by the beach entrance. (There's also a rental shack right on that block for any beach needs: chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, you name it.)The cottage itself is so nice, cozy and comfortable. The place has 2 queen-sized beds and a pull-out couch. We didn't wind up pulling out the couch; rather, one of my friends slept on it as is. So we had ample space to move around. Having a kitchen and a full-sized fridge at the ready was phenomenal. We were able to cook and store food, drinks, or snacks, which helped keep our vacation within budget.When we booked the cottage, the preparatory message we received had us a little worried, but it turned out to be an unwarranted worry. It mentioned needing to bring any and all paper products, which gave us the impression that there would be no toilet paper or paper towels or tissue or anything. But there was! Crisis averted, though we definitely overpacked due to this worry, haha. Elizabeth, the owner, was just trying to make sure it was known that there wasn't a stash of EXTRA paper products, and that we'd need to supply our own, past what was present in the cottage. A silly misunderstanding, but I thought I'd mention it in case that worried anyone else.All in all, we had a terrific time at Dewey Beach and at this cottage. Highly Recommend!

sweet little cottage

small cottage, but sweet. good for 2-3 people. close to the beach, and other attractions. very walk-able to boardwalk and restaurants. we parked our car when we got there and didn't use it till we left. close to other cottages.

Great end of summer getaway

My daughter and her friend and I had a great few days at this cottage. Great location - easy walk to restaurants/small markets and most importantly, to the beach. And the walk to the boardwalk at Rehoboth isn't too long (and is an even shorter drive). Highly recommend the cottage! We will come again!

Cute place, can't beat the location!

Small but perfect for our needs (family of 4 with 2 preschoolers). The location is great - 2 minute walk to the beach and, in the other direction, several restaurants and shops. No need to drive anywhere!

Close to the action

This clean and cozy cottage is close to the beach, the bars, the brewery, the restaurants. If you want to walk out to watch the sunrise in the morning, have coffee in the quiet of a classic beach cottage, and then wander the wonders of Dewey--or Rehoboth and Cape Henlopen just minutes north by car--this is a great spot to do it from.

Such a great stay

We loved this cozy beach cottage in a perfect location! It is compact but is laid out well and still packs in a ton of features, including laundry, a sunny enclosed porch, and an outdoor shower. We would definitely stay again!

No frills,very small but certainly pleasant enough. Four or so houses from the beach and the Starboard right across on Rt. 1. We were able to walk everywhere in Dewy and took the Trolly into Rehoboth.

My family and I enjoyed the cozy house. It was close to the beach, restaurants and stores. It was very clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. We loved sitting on the front porch. Our long weekend was very enjoyable.
