Although the front desk person was exceptional good. The rooms at the hotel are outdated and are musty. They need a face lift and thorough cleaning. The bathroom has a feel of nastiness which almost prevented me from using it. No choice. Very drab and depressing in the rooms. Would never stay here again even if it were free.

Front desk staff was amazing! Very friendly and eager to help. Room wasn't vacuumed when we checked in, such low hanging fruit makes me wonder what else isn't clean. Pealing wallpaper in bathroom, leaky bathtub faucet, bathtub stopper didn't work properly. The two nights we stayed the property had some outfit doing swim lessons in the small pool so we couldn't use. I am not usually a negative review leaver but this post pandemic negligence and lack of service in what should be a good mid-range business hotel is unacceptable. I expect this from a random motel, not a Hilton property.

We liked the close proximity to Twelve Oaks Mall and to favorite dining chains. Staff were welcoming and cheerful upon check in. We did notice that the second day that laundry was put out into the hall on the floor. Piles of wet dirty towels and linens did not keep the air or optics clean and tidy. We did observe that only one person was assigned to cleaning , while a second was assigned to gather the dirty linens from the hallways. Our observation is that the Hotel staff are great, but grossly under staffed especially for a weekend. More likely to stay somewhere else next time.

My daughter and I just returned from a weekend in Detroit. The main purpose was to go to the Detroit Institute of Art but we also wanted to shop at Twelve Oaks Mall so we chose this hotel. We were very happy and would stay again. Close to the mall and also lots of plazas nearby with stores, restaurants, etc. Hotel room clean, quiet and safe. We tried the breakfast the first morning and the selection and food quality was very good.Will definitely stay again. Tr

Property was fine. Came on a Sunday so bar and restaurant were closed. Nowhere in the reservation process did it state that. I would’ve gone somewhere else had I known that. Need to replace mattress.

The dinner menu in my room stated that served 5pm to, I think, 10pm. I arrived back to Hotel at 5:45 and went to the dinner area but it was dark and no one in the area. Even the bar area was dark and again no one is the area. Luckily I had brought some snacks with me so I had some chips and a couple of cookies for dinner. Breakfast was also served late due to staff being late. Will look for a different hotel next year.

Great Stay
Overall I enjoyed my stay here.. the customer service was amazing , very clean and quiet. The only complaint I have was there was a few hair pieces in the tub but other than that the bathroom and room was very clean.

Very good but......
This is a very good location and the rooms and staff are attentive to your needs. The downfall is breakfast. Even I cheap, often free in many other hotels, continental is $11.95! For a bowl of cereal, muffin, juice, and coffee. The full breakfast, also often free at other similar priced locations, was $15.95. IMO, the continental should be free at all times.

Bed and shower delivered in expectation and the staff that we interacted with were very nice. The carpet throughout the hallway had a sour smell and the room carpet was old and worn. Also, it was a holiday weekend and the on-site dining was closed 2 of the 3 days.
