"There were a lot of good things about Mitsui Garden but also a couple of significant reasons for which we wouldn’t return. First the good - staff are friendly, polite and professional. The breakfast is very nice with a good variety of both Japanese and Western foods. They offer change up some of the foods on a day to day basis which is nice for a longer stay. The dining room, on the 25th floor with nearly 360 degree views, is really lovely. The rooms are small, typical for Japan. We needed...

"It is an old Hotel and the rooms needs to be updated. Still, because of the staff in the 21th floor, we had an amazing time. The waiters were the most helpfull and polite. We felt very welcome and comfortable. We also got Turist informations about the castle and the gardens, with maps and all. Thanky you very much, if we come back we will stay there again."

"A mixed experience at this hotel. The room was incredibly small, with barely enough space to open a suitcase (let alone two). And having only two lifts for a building this size led to some long waits. But the rooftop onsen and location in the heart of Hiroshima made up for those disappointments."

"The hotel offered exceptional service in all areas. My one qualm is the way the staff would talk in English regardless of my wish to converse in Japanese. Having come to Japan to immerse myself in the language and culture, this was disappointing. "Awesome location for visiting the historical sites such as the Peace Museum, park grounds and A-Bomb Dome. We were a little disappointed that for a triple room, it was very compact and the cleaning could have been improved on. Because the beds were squished in so much, it would have been challenging to vacuum effectively and it showed. The layout of the room was odd as well, with the sink for the bathroom located in the room itself, making it difficult to get to when there was no other space...

"This property is more for people with older children or adults. I had three kids under 8 and the loft area wasn't the safest idea for sleeping or playing. There was also basically no storage for bags. The kitchen area wasn't really realistic to cook in, but it was a uniquely designed space in which if my family was older I think would have worked out great."
