"It’s on the water front, only a very short walk, quarter mile from the center of town. There is not much surrounding the area, but if you have a car, there is parking available. The owner is very accommodating and will advise and help. This is Tonga, so you should not expect commercial level of accommodations. Everything is clean and comfortable, with hot water in the shower."

"The Matafouna Lodge is amazing. The location is beautiful. The fales were comfortable with a porch, comfortable bed, and glass windows. "Winnie's B&B was a perfect place to stay in Nuku'alofa, Tonga. It was extremely well kept, laundry was done as a kind gesture, and the breakfast was a great start to the day. The family who lives there is very friendly and fun to talk to. The accommodation is quite close to the town center but far enough out for some quiet. The landscaping, plants, decorations, lighting, and mini waterfalls at night were also a really nice touch. Thank you! "
