"We were met by Kay and Neil and made to feel very welcome. The property was just as described and Kay had left us some provisions such as milk butter etc. The gite is very well situated to explore the region, and is a 20 minute walk into the village of Madiran, which has 2 restaurants and a boulangerie. Neil was always on hand to help us out with any questions and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing, peaceful holiday. Jim Relph."

"We were really sad to leave Cécile’s home! She is such a kind and thoughtful host. Every morning, after breakfast, she would help us plan our day’s excursions, and just chat with us about families and life. Her primary language is French, so English-only may be difficult, but I’m sure necessary communication is possible. "Had a lovely time here in the Madiran area. Made very welcome by Graham and Sue and their dog Hari. The house was well-equipped with lots of rooms when children and grand-children came to stay, and good wifi and television when the weather wasn't so good. The owners were always ready to help, guiding us to the best markets and restaurants. We would strongly recommend Maison Lajus."
