"Hotel turned me back that they do not have contract with Expedia anymore. Reception stay was cunning and rude. Not recommended for anyone. "

"We enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Amara suites, caterer's court. The apartment was very spacious and well furnished. It was centrally located for all sites in central Lagos, Ikoyi, Victoria Island and Lekki. The staff was very helpful and the check-in was smooth, starting with a complimentary airport pick-up. We felt secure in the compound with adequate security. It was a home away from home. The gym was well equipped . The only complaint is lack of towels cleaning tissues in the gym."

"Very loud music playing at night, the manager during the night keep knocking at my door several times for no reason looking for a friend, I don't need a friend because I don't know him."

" I had a wonderful time. There were a few mishaps initially in the beginning (refrigerator left unplugged and there was water all over the floor) but other than that my stay was wonderful. I also enjoyed the fact that there was a convenience store right around the corner to purchase many items to make my stay more comfortable. The hotel staff were nice as well, especially Ene and Peter. The chefs were fantastic also. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to go back again."

"First of all, they claimed they couldn’t find my booking until 9pm. Then they said cos Hotels.com has taken it own commission, they can’t give me a deluxe room even though that is what I paid for. They gave me a standard room with weird bathroom. Then they refused to give me WiFi, or Breakfast. "

"Facilities are dated, whole building needs new paint, the toilet seat in my room wobbles. All in all the character of staff were quite nice apart from the restaurant staffs that refused to give me glass cups to drink water with."
