"We enjoyed this little retreat. We were lucky on the weather and the mountains were SPECTACULAR for our 2 day visit. But, we also enjoyed the lovely gardens around Raniban. We did have them arrange transportation back and forth to the hotel because of the bumpy last bit of road. "

"I thought the staff was great, but this area and location is a bit rough, so you may face some cold nights and lack some creature comforts. I stayed 4 nights, which may have been two too many as there really wasn’t a whole lot to do at night. Still the day hiking was nice and the hotel restaurant was nice. "

But while reaching to hotel , it was closed and under maintance.so we are not able to stay there. I asked with hotel mgmt and they said sorry. But what will be about my payment is unknown. "Very friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was good, next to the garden of dreams which was a good marker when travelling around Kathmandu. Short walk into the Thamel nightlife, restaurants and bars. Money exchange office very close to the hotel with the rates the same as others within the city. Pick up from the airport was included and helpful in initially finding the hotel. For the return to the airport the hotel arranged a minibus and we paid, about £5. The only downside is if you have mobility issues as there are no lifts. I would recommend this hotel!"
