"This may have been the nicest place I stayed in Nepal, but I only stayed at a couple other places, and it is 4 star at best. The place itself was nice, but for shower hot water I had to call the desk each day to get them to heat up the water. The shower actually had a shower curtain, which was a positive I learned for Nepal. "This is the third time coming to the Nar Bis Hotel and I have never been disappointed. SANTOSH and his lovely family are so kind and generous.The hotel is alittle way out of main Pokhara but well worth the walk ,taxi or bus into town as it is so peaceful and with such amazing views over the lake.There are little shops around for necessities and a couple of really chilled out beach bars a few meters away.The rooms are large and very comfortable and each has a balcony with the best views ever.Free...

"In the center of lakeside, 2minute walk to the main street and the lake with all the shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Bottled water in the room and replaced on request. Room cleaning available daily if you want. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They arranged our taxi to chitwan for us. Breakfast was basic but a good start to the day.
