"The staff at Galle Face Hotel were exceptional; every member of the team we interacted with was extremely hospitable, welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Their service stood out and made the visit memorable.
That said, the condition of the building itself was quite disappointing and did not reflect the quality of the staff. The room's control panels barely functioned, and the air conditioning was inconsistent at times. During heavy rain, the window seals were not adequate, and water leaked into the room overnight, leaving puddles inside.
Again, the staff were among the best service we've experienced, but the property itself is in need of significant maintenance and upgrades to match the level of hospitality provided."
