It’s on the outskirts of the city so it’s a taxi ride (five minutes) into and out of central Yamoussoukro. The hotel and my room were spotless. The pool looked great but unfortunately I was not able to use it due to a shortness of time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended." Modern shower even if water pressure could have been stringer. In centre of city, walkable to many supermarkets, restarants, banks, etc. Train station next door with some goodd train hooting at nigjt. Quite atmospheric. Breakfast was iok with fresh fruit and nice omelette. What was less good, was that you had to pay extra (3£50) for coffee from machine (the free option was hot water and nescafé sachets. They were kind to let me stay till 2 pm for free.
