I was happy to find the accommodation was exactly as advertised. During my stay Mark provided great local information and was also kind enough to show me around the local, and surrounding areas. "Effet wahou quand on découvre les lieux. À part ceci, le wifi ne marche pas et nous redirige vers un portail sur lequel on ne peut pas se connecter. Le lit de la 1ere chambre était cassé. Les poubelles des précédents invités n’étaient pas vidés et le bidon d’eau était vide à notre arrivé. Prestation pas à la hauteur de l’attente pour le tarif. Afin de tenir la promesse, il faudrait être plus minutieux sur les details"

"Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. The hut was on stilts and featured fairly comfortable beds with much needed mosquito nets, a balcony facing the sea, and complementary water. The activities on offer were varied...

"The rooms were spotless and staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is large and laid out in a forest setting with covered raised open air walkways. There were bikes you could ride from your room to the very large pool area, We took kayaks down the small river behind the resort and it was like a jungle river trip with huge trees and lush forest all around. The pool is large with shady areas around. We stayed six nights all told. The restaurant food was very good. A couple of evenings we went to town for a change and the hotel arranged for tuktuks to take us. The resort is good value for money. "

"The hotel was exceptional in design of its rooms (we stayed in rm 111), access, exterior space, and pool. The lighting, access to switches and sockets was well thought out too. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful when requesting transport. The serving of breakfast would have been a bonus on an otherwise wonderful stay The only additions I would recommend….a hand soap pump by the sink to avoid stepping into the shower tray each time to access the dispenser on the wall, and horizontal towel rails to enable 4 wet/damp towels to be neatly hung up rather than placed on shelves or suspended on one of 2 single hooks."
