« It was a quiet and relaxing stay. Everyone really enjoyed the week. The first evening we were there we were able to watch a dolphin swim close to the shore. Even charging the shore at times to push the fish that way. It was really neat to watch. The sunrises and moonrises were also great. We didn't see more than a few people on the beach. The last day we were there it looked like some other families arrived in the houses nearby, but I imagine it would still be pretty quiet even with them there....

« This gorgeous home right on the lake was exactly as advertised and MORE. It was the perfect vacation for us and our two sons and their families (12 total). It was very clean inside, and well stocked. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking and feeding large groups. The beds were also very comfortable. The huge walk-in showers in the two master suites were really nice and a rare treat. The kids really enjoyed playing pool upstairs and loved fishing off the dock. My son brought his boat...

« We love this place! It was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. We call it our campus cottage, as it has a wonderful cottage feel and it's an easy , quick 7 minute drive to FSU campus where our grandson was attending band camp. Our hosts couldn't have been more thoughtful and kind. We're looking forward to our next visit. Thank you. »

« In complete candor, I was a little disappointed in the beach. The water was fairly brown- clean, but brown. This is just a result of silt from the river. The beach was SUPER clean and quite natural, but there were a ton of super sharp rocks about 12 feet into the water. Those are literally the only negatives I have about the trip and honestly, small potatoes. Everything else was PERFECT Pictures are from the lowest tide we saw. »

« We found the house to be very cute with 2 master bedrooms with complete bathrooms in both, kitchen and living room in the middle. We did not bring our doggie but the fenced in yard was clean and looked very safe to let your dog go out into. Large Florida room had a dining table for 6 and a twin bed for a nap for my mom. We fished from the beach behind the house. Highly recommend. »

« House was comfortable. One bed is in a loft that has a ladder so probably more suitable for a teen which worked out well for us. Lake is the reason we are there so docking the boat up to the dock was perfect. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. We drive a pickup so trash isn’t a problem in that we just took it out to the truck to take it to the local dumpster. Great place for a family to enjoy each other. »

« We had an amazing stay. The house is a little older, so you have to accept a few flaws here and there, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world. It's a perfect location, walking distance to the beach, however.....why walk when there is a golf cart provided for your convenience. Check in was simple. Communication with the host was easy. And the pool was splendid after a hot sticky day! There were PLENTY of towels for all of our numerous showers, which was AWESOME! And the fishing was...

« With two young kids, this was a great place to take them to the beach without the hustle and bustle of a touristy area. The state park surrounding the cottage is a beautiful backdrop.
