"The cabin looked even better in person than in the pictures! It was beautiful, renovated, and clean. We had a large group of 8 adults stay for one evening and the space was plenty. The location was quiet, and just as secluded as advertised. Would highly recommend!"

"This cute cabin was a perfect getaway for our family! We wanted to hike Shawnee National Forest and planned this trip for a couple of months. We were fortunate enough to stumble across this picturesque cabin that comfortably housed 5 of us. Everything about the place to welcoming and relaxing. The hosts did an excellent job making us feel welcome and make us want to come back for another trip. We planned this trip not knowing what the weather had in store for us. "Used the cabin as a base camp to rest/sleep in between hikes. It had everything that was needed, and was quite cozy. Only real knock about the place is the dog policy, which seems more akin to "dogs barely tolerated" vs dog friendly, but my dog seemed to handle it well all the same. "

"We had a great time this weekend hiking around and coming back to the cabin and building a fire. The TV worked great for when we were going to bed at night. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a fine meal. I would definitely book again in the future."

"Everything I and my family was hoping for. The property was beyond amazing, very secluded, peaceful, tranquil, with incredible views. The cabin was well equipped with everything we need and very comfortable for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The decks and firepit were so nice to enjoy also. Lastly the pool was beyond perfect. It had the perfect amount of shade during the hottest time of day. It made the really hot days very bearable. We couldn't ask for a better place. Jaqueline and Eric were a pleasure and very helpful with anything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again. "

"The photos honestly don't do this place justice. The cabin is wonderful and is stocked with absolutely everything you could ever need. The fire circle was awesome, and the farm animals were an added bonus, and Sam the dog is an extremely good boy. Hosts were kind and helpful, cabin was very clean, and beds were pretty comfortable. There are also bird feeders that are visible from the living room with a lovely variety of bird vistors, and a creek behind the cabin that we walked around in as well. If we are ever back in the area we would love to stay here again! Highly recommend. "

"Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Simply appointed and has necessities. Quiet area directly on the Ohio River, not far from Garden of the Gods. About thirty minutes from Harrisburg. We drove in and ate at Morello's one day and The BBQ Barn on another day. Both good choices. "
