"Great place close to the trail"

"We booked 1 night at Magical Mountain Resort here on hotels.com. But apparently this hotel does not exist anymore and the one it actually is, is definitely not 3 star. When we got to the address, no signs for the hotel, so we asked around and it turns out that the hotel now is part of Punsisi Resort, which we never heard of or was informed on before arriving. After some confusion and the staff explaining that “Magical Mountain Resort” was once a hotel of its own, but now it is part of...

"A nice view from the hotel, the room is okay. It’s a 10 minutes walk from Adam’s peak. The staff were really friendly and helpful. "

"There is a lot to like about the Slightly Chilled Yellow House. The staff was excellent - very knowledgeable and eager to accommodate any request. Breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The location is great - just 500m to the start of the Adam’s Peak trail. And there are other walks through tea plantations right out the door. The room was generally fine, though felt a bit tired - not run down, just not crisp. It also smelled musty."

"We had a really great time at Adam's peak Inn. The host was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and located very close to Adam's peak. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!"

"Great hotel in an ideal location. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. It’s close to Adams Peak and staff will organise transport if needed. "

"After you leave the main road to, literally, dive onto this hotel on a 45 or so degrees slope, you'll find yourself in a tiny combe crossed by the river flowing from the top of the main mountain: Sri Pada a.k.a. Adam's Peak. Legend has it that some vehicles are no longer able to climb it back and are consequently stuck there for ever. Why did you come here? Well, to climb that peak, of course! What else? The slope leading to the hotel and that you'll have to take in the reverse direction will...

"Top !! Nous avons adoré logé dans ce cottage, c’est original et ça tient toutes ses promesses ! C’est une parenthèse dans votre voyage sri lankais, pendant une nuit on se croirait vraiment ailleurs ! Le personnel est adorable et le petit déjeuner très bien. "

"This was an amazing stay! Cozy room, nice breakfast, clean facilities, and excellent staff. The views were incredible. Easy to get to the main sites if you had access to a vehicle. No complaints at all! Note: The inn is up an extremely steep hill, so you'll need a vehicle to get there. "
