« We loved our hotel. The view and location were wonderful! The room was lovely and clean. The fireplace was a nice touch. Bed was comfy as well. We look forward to coming back. »

« Gorgeous condo with nice patio view. Comfortable seating. Huge beautiful bathroom but no soap for tub and besides the soap and shampoo mounted in shower only a bottle of hand soap. Showers were barely Luke warm but we did enjoy our stay. Nice town! And close to a neat winery »

« This was our overnight stay prior to entering the BWCA the next morning. We arrived fairly late and check in could not have been smoother. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a tad small but usable. The room itself was larger than most. The included breakfast was great. Many choices and the never ran out of anything. We would definitely stay their again. »

« Our room was on the third floor, which offered an amazing view of the lake - exactly what we were hoping for! You do not want to miss the sunrise in the mornings from the balcony! :) We’ve been to some places where the kitchen has little to offer for appliances and simple meal prep- this place exceeded our expectations and the ice maker in the fridge was appreciated. « We got emails from the property in the days leading up to our stay and were unable to open them, so we were thankful they still had our room when we got there. We asked for a room with a bed and sofa bed - the sofa bed was very comfortable, but they didn't leave appropriate bed clothes for it so we had to improvise a bit. Lovely room. Great kitchen. Great location. »

« We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals.
