Really amazing place. Tastefully done. This town is an undiscoveted gem. This stay was surprizingly perfect. I recomend this place for sure. The breakfast was perfect. The room perfect. All super modern in a historic building. From the sliding glass reception doors to the art covered walls a traveling experience not to be missed.

My husband and I went to Italy for our 30th anniversary. We decided to break up the drive from Tropea to Puglia and stop in Cosenza. This turned out to be my husband's favorite part of the trip. I stayed at this property in July 2022 with my family (the four of us). This property was situated right in the middle and heart of Tropea! It was fabulous. From the service to the views. My family and I could not ask for a better place! I would definitely go back. We had breakfast brought into our room everyone morning. We had an excellent stay at Al Castello! Paolo was a magnificent host, with excellent restaurant and entertainment recommendations. He greeted us each morning at breakfast with coffees and special treats, as we watched Mount Etna fuming in the distance. He also helped us park and load the car. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel itself was convenient for the sights. I would absolutely recommend a stay! Thanks for everything Paolo!

We had a wonderful stay at Al Vecchio Pioppo the place was spotless and beautifully designed. The owners took extra time to tour us around and shared history of the area and other spots for us to explore in Italy. They also made us an authentic Italian meal which was absolutely amazing. The owners definitely went above and beyond to make us feel right at home! Breakfast included was also excellent. We will definitely recommend this beautiful B&B to friends and family.

The resort was as advertised and did not disappoint; great location with access to beaches, historic centre charm, shopping and dining. The property was well maintained, rooms clean and comfortable. From arrival with a welcoming prosecco to departure the staff from front desk, housekeeping, and dining were courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and the property was so beautiful - very 'Country Chic'. The staff went over and above to fulfill my requests. The food was delicious - breakfast and dinner! Highly recommend and would love to come back again and again.

What a special place to stay and explore the beaches in Parghelia and the Gold Coast. My room was facing the gardens with a view to the main villa and sea in the distance. All rooms have a lovely private patio where a fresh cooked breakfast was served every morning. Comfortable rooms featured air conditioning, beach towels and beach umbrella which came in handy to visit Spiaggia Michelino - it’s simply breathtaking - well worth the hike. Pelicans was a clean, comfortable guest house, quite centrally located though uphill from the sea. Our room was well appointed. Host Lorenzo was very helpful.
