"Lavialle is a small hamlet at the head of of a gorgeous wooded valley just a few kilometres out of Blesle, one of "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France". The cottage is delightful and suited my wife and I perfectly. Paul and Genevieve are lovely friendly hosts and they have organised delightful circular walks from the cottage from easy (3k for us) to hard and very hard. "This lovely village house offered plenty of room for at least 4 people…we were two. Off street parking was good. There was no internet, but we managed with phone tethering. We were welcomed and checked out by the hosts daughter. We did not encounter any difficulties so need need to contact the host. A quiet rural environment."

"No directions on how to get to property. Communication with owner because of language problems. Advertised with shower but shower not connected. We would not have chosen property without a shower. No guest book so no information re any emergency or recycling/rubbish etc.Inadequate lighting in bedrooms. Beautiful area and lovely view although very much in the countryside. At least 15 minutes to nearest town and restaurant for evening meal."
