"Panglao Cliffside Resort is a peaceful, quiet retreat with a very thoughtful atmosphere. The food was carefully prepared and genuinely enjoyable, not just standard resort fare. The staff were incredibly responsive and helped us easily arrange scooter rentals and taxi service. The resort is quite isolated, so renting a scooter is highly recommended, but that’s also part of its charm. It's a few steps from the beach, but make sure to be dropped off on site if you can, because it ruined my suitcase from being dragged from the parking area to the hotel and back.
