![Puerto Madryn is protected by the Golfo Nuevo, which is formed by the Península Valdés and the Punta Ninfas. It is an important centre for tourists visiting the natural attractions of the Península Valdés and the coast.

The coastline is inhabited by marine mammals, like sea lions, elephant seals and fur seals. Southern right whales can be found in Golfo Nuevo and Golfo San José, protected bodies of water located between the peninsula and the Patagonian mainland. These baleen whales come here between May and December, for mating and giving birth, because the water in the gulf is quieter and warmer than in the open sea. Orcas can be found off the coast, in the open sea off the peninsula. In this area, they are known to beach themselves on shore to capture sea lions and elephant seals.

The inner part of the peninsula is inhabited by rheas, guanacos and maras. "Reserve una habitación que no daba al mar (no tuve esa opción), pero la que tuve daba al estacionamiento. Horrible. Sin cortinas, solo con black outs enrrollables. Y por sobre todo tolerando un ruido inaceptable toda la noche por unas bombas que estaban justamente en el estacionamiento. Me parece una pena pagar casi usd 185 la noche por una habitación así. Mas allá de eso recalcó el resto del hotel es divino pero NUNCa volvería a ocupar no recomendar esta habitación (tiene 4 así de un total de...

"Recientemente me hospedé en este hotel y tuve una experiencia realmente excelente. Desde el momento en que llegamos, el servicio fue impecable: el personal fue muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, lo cual hizo que me sintiera muy bien atendido durante toda la estadía. La ubicación es otro punto destacado; está cerca de todo lo que necesitas, con restaurantes, tiendas y atractivos turísticos a poca distancia. El hotel en general tiene una atmósfera muy agradable y moderna, ideal para una escapada relajante. Sin embargo, la única pequeña desventaja fue la piscina. En las fotos del sitio web me imaginé un espacio más grande y diseñado para adultos, pero en realidad es bastante pequeña y parece estar más orientada a los niños, con un diseño que no invita mucho al descanso para los adultos. Aunque no fue un gran inconveniente para mí, si tu objetivo es disfrutar de un área de piscina más amplia o tranquila, es algo a considerar. A pesar de esto, mi experiencia fue muy positiva, y definitivamente recomendaría este hotel por su excelente servicio, ubicación y confort."
