Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing vacation experiences I’ve had.
Just days before our trip, we were informed that our original condo was unavailable due to ongoing construction. While alternative accommodations were provided, we were moved between two different condos during our stay, both of which felt like a significant downgrade from what we originally booked and paid for.
The biggest issue was the lack of communication and coordination between property management and the condo front desk. For two full days, I spent my vacation stressed, waiting for units to become available, making phone calls, and trying to get consistent answers. Every person seemed to have different information, leaving us in a constant state of confusion and uncertainty.
What was supposed to be a relaxing mini getaway turned into a frustrating, exhausting, and disappointing experience. Instead of enjoying our time away, we spent much of it dealing with accommodation issues and waiting around for solutions.
I understand that unexpected situations happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. The lack of organization, communication, and consideration for guests greatly impacted our vacation experience.
I am still waiting to hear back regarding compensation for the inconvenience, lost vacation time, and overall poor experience. I hope management will take responsibility and make this right.
