The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and efficient during check-in. The room is well equipped and clean. This has become my go-to spot when visiting Des Moines. Very few other hotels within the downtown area offer free parking. The breakfast buffet is nice. I'll keep staying here when I return.

I was here for a conference at the event center. I had a nice room with a beautiful view of the Des Moines river. Beds were comfortable, staff were helpful and pleasant and it was an easy walk to conference. Breakfast was fine with hot and cold options. I had a problem with my tv and staff got it fixed immediately.
