Stayed for new year. Restaurant is excellent food really is superb and staff attentive. Things that need improvement no water in rooms, rooms are at very different standards eg one room had nespreso machine other booked room was half the size and no express machine. Also should have dressing gowns etc as it is not a low cost hotel and needs to compete with the competition. All that said would we go again possibly, or more likely stay elsewhere and just go to the restaurant as a guest not a resident.

Wonderful stay
Had a wonderful stay at The Boot. Comfortable, spacious room and very comfy bed. We had dinner which we would recommend - very interesting menu beyond a normal pub menu. Breakfast was also delicious. Service was excellent. We did a great 4 mile walk from the pub the next morning.

A brief visit
Quick visit, prompt check in and lovely spacious room. Surprised how peaceful it was on a busy Saturday night. Unfortunately did not eat here but did so at one of the others in the chain, food looked very good

Fantastic stay, just a couple of little niggles
Check in staff were very friendly.. Food at the restaurant was very high quality, room was spotless clean and well appointed. Shame the TV didn’t work (when mentioned to staff it seemed it had been faulty for a while) Comfy bed but was woken early as the curtains let in a lot of light. Despite the little issues I would recommend and would happily return, particularly to the restaurant

The Boot is a very friendly and inviting pub and restaurant. The staff are attentive to your needs and the food is excellent along with a good choice of beers and other drinks. The accommodation is lovely and all individually designed, giving it an upmarket and more opulent feel compared to many other comparable venues. You won't be disappointed if you attend here and i would highly recommend a visit.

Lovely stay
The Boot Inn was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable with lovely staff. My only (slightly) negative comments are that the wash hand-basin in the bedroom was tiny and my vegetarian Sunday roast was roasted cauliflower with more cauliflower (and other veg) on the side. And the portions were HUGE!!!

Excellent Accommodation
A lovely pub providing great food and accommodation. A very popular pub with nice beer garden in the summer. The restaurant was very busy with the food well presented and very tasty. The cost of drinks and food was reasonable. The accommodation was spotless, very comfortable bed and good quality toiletries. The only downside was the car park was supposed to be for resided after 4.00pm. We arrived about this time but no cars moved out of the car park so we had to park on the road. Not a major problem and would definitely stay again when in the area.

A little Gem a place - really outstanding
Ah, this place is a little gem. The room was brilliant - such a lovely room - really high std. it’s the 2nd time I stayed and it was the same high std. And the food is just fab. I still can’t get over the chocolate sorbet pud! So easy for main road networks but still feels very much in the countryside and quiet.

Stayed here as a work trip whilst visiting Alton Towers. Really loved it, food was great, staff were friendly and attentive and the rooms were really clean. My only gripe would be that we had a family room and the two kids beds were just blow up ones, not actual beds. Apparently they didn't sleep that well on them, other than that top notch and would definitely stay again.

Quaint pub like a tardis once inside! Busy, but plenty of staff kept everything flowing and all staff were very friendly and helpful without exception. Food amazing especially the breakfasts which certainly kept us going all day! Parking a little tight, so don't take a big car, but do visit and definitely eat at the Boot!

Great place for exploring Repton
Very nice pub with rooms. Service is friendly and relaxed. I stayed for two nights during the week and paid £150 total (excluding breakfast and any other extras). I was very happy with the accommodation overall, which, being in a very old building, had exposed oak beams and oozed charm. Nice furnishings and good amenities such as an iron, ironing board, beauty amenity kit including cotton pads, cotton buds and an emery board. Breakfast was extra, but excellent; I opted for the full English on Thursday morning and pancakes, maple syrup and bacon on the Friday, but there are also many lighter options like smashed avocado on toast, homemade granola, toast etc. Would stay again..

An absolute gem, this Inn., with its own micro brewery, has everything to offer. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pub is dog friendly, our room had two dog bowls and a blanket. The room was beautifully furnished and equipped, although the wash basin was amongst the smallest I have ver used - but it did the job. Dinner was of the highest standard, nudging up to Michelin class. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed with live music, great atmosphere. Breakfast on Sunday was a bit haphazard, the only thing to mar our visit.

we opted for the delux double room. The bed was huge and very comfy. The room was very modern. The only small drawback was a very tiny handwashing sink, which made it a challenge to brush teeth with a large mirror frame also encroaching over rhe sink. Breakfast service was also a little slower than expected. Overall a good hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

They do not answer the phone
Impossible to contact this property... I tried phoning for several days to notify that I would be arriving a few minutes past the 10:30pm checkin cut off but no one ever answers the phone! Once I arrived there was no one around to let me in. Thank god there is a Novotel around the corner or I would have been in real trouble. My advise would be to use the Novotel instead as the price is comparable and you can be certain of no issues.

The Boot Inn is a great place to stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely afternoon enjoying the sunshine in the beer garden. Dinner was amazing, highly recommend the port belly. Will effeminately be back.
