It was clean and had everything we needed with the exception of the TV. In order to use it we had to sign into our amazon account and then when we did, we got a notification saying the TV would store our amazon info. We opted not to do that for obvious reasons, but then we just had no TV. My husband wasn't too happy. We didn't wander around too much in the area as we had other plans around other parts of Denver, but when we did walk around it was a little run down. Lots of homeless people and somewhat sketchy and dirty. Everything is definitely in walking distance, including the grocery store, so thats a huge plus. But since we didn't know the area (we're from out of state) we just booked based on price and reviews. I probably wouldnt stay here again because of the area, but overall it's a nice place and very affordable. Host also does not make you do any of the ridiculous cleaning regimens like others do. However, this was an ideal location for visiting my daughter who moved to Denver a few years ago, so I could not pass it up. If walking is not an issue, you will be fine. Like vintage clothes? You can find a number of boutiques to scratch that itch. Food? So many choices. Nightlife? Many places stay open past 9 pm. There are also familiar places nearby- Walgreens & Taco Bell.Shifting back to the house- it is small, but not too small. It sits in a back-alley of sorts, and we did have some traffic back and force at times. The bedrooms were decently-sized and had closet space. We hung around the living room when we were not exploring or day tripping. The AC worked very well! We spent a short amount of time on the back patio and found it pleasant. We prepared a few meals in the kitchen and everything worked just fine.Get used to hearing sirens- the hospital is not far away. You will probably see some eyebrow-raising things from time-to-time if you stroll along Broadway, but we never felt scared.
