This old house, with its terracotta tiles and exposed beams, features a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a living room with a television and a working fireplace, promising cozy winter evenings. A toilet and washing machine are also located on the ground floor. Upstairs, you'll find the bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed and direct access to the outside. On the upper floor, a bright mezzanine leads to the shower and bathroom with a toilet. A unique feature of this cottage is that the shower opens directly onto the mezzanine, and the bathroom with a sink and toilet is located just opposite (see photos). The mezzanine can accommodate two additional people, but it does not have blackout blinds to completely darken the room. Outside, the fully enclosed garden (with low walls) is perfect for relaxation (parasol, garden furniture, electric griddle, deck chairs). For your comfort, the beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided. Lighten your load and fully enjoy your stay in this cottage! The GR3 long-distance hiking trail runs right next to the cottage, following the Loire River from its source to its estuary, offering a diverse landscape: vineyards, floodplains, forests, riverboat villages, troglodyte dwellings... Nature and heritage enthusiasts will be delighted. The island of Béhuard is a 10-minute drive and a 1 hour 15 minute walk away. The cottage is 15 minutes from the A87 motorway and 25 minutes from Angers and the Terra Botanica botanical garden. You can park your vehicle right in front of the cottage, near the gate. Just 5 minutes from the cottage, take the Loire Valley wine route and the Anjou Corniche to admire breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Loire and Louet valleys. Don't forget to stop at a winery to taste some local wines. You can also enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants in Chalonnes-sur-Loire or spend an evening at a riverside café. End-of-stay cleaning is not included in the rental price: an optional extra is available for €80\. This is a non-smoking property. Property managed by a professional. Heel persoonlijk ingericht, een omheinde tuin voor de hond en direct naast het huis een enorm natuurgebied waar de hond naar hartelust kan rennen en zwemmen. Lage muren dus let op! Mijn vriend heeft tot 2x toe keihard zijn hoofd gestoten, tot bloedens toe. De hond is alleen maar in de keuken geweest aangezien de trap in de woonkamer niet afgesloten kan worden. Hij vond het prima omdat we overdag vooral buiten waren en savonds zelf ook in de keuken zaten. De wandeling door het veld naar Denee en de bakker daar is prachtig. Niks dan lof over deze plek. Het enige grote nadeel was dat je echt nergens lekker kon zitten qua meubilair. De bank is te klein en te stijf en dat geldt ook voor de stoelen binnen en buiten, dat was echt ontzettend jammer want je wilt gewoon lekker kunnen neerploffen savonds. En overdag. Ik wou dat ik mijn klapstoel had meegenomen. Maar verder echt fantastisch!!!!!!! Oh ja, de eigenaresse spreekt echt geen woord over de grens....dus Google translate aanzetten.
