« The Village Inn & Pub was perfect for our getaway. Located walking distance to great restaurants and the pier. But the best part was the hotel, our room was beautiful, pool area was a delight to sit out in the evenings and enjoy the beautiful plants. The icing on the cake was the pub, great staff and had karaoke the last night there. We will be back. »

« The location on the beach and the pool were the best parts. Outside of that, everything else was subpar and at times horrible. I’ll start with the service. It took us 2 hours to receive our food from the pool bar. After asking 3 different servers, and waiting an hr and 45 minutes, we found out they forgot to even put our order in. Our room had mold in the shower. The pull out bed was uncomfortable. The door to the porch for the balcony was broken. Overall the room was a 3 star resort at...

« We had a beautiful space to relax and enjoy which had a kitchen, living room area, separate bedroom and bathroom. The decor was gorgeous and the rooms were spotless. Parking was easy right in front of the building. Staff was excellent; friendly, helpful and pleasant. Very comfortable, safe, and so relaxing. Highly recommend. »

Old southern charm, but with emphasis on the old— our room was as clean as housekeeping could possibly make it, but the carpet had large stains, shower door can’t stay shut, paint on bathroom ceiling and parts of walls cracked and peeling. Tile missing on bathroom floor. Brilliant location right in historic district because hotel is pretty much the historic anchor (former exclusive millionaires club built at end of 19th century). « A very nice stay overall. Towels at the pool-site would be helpful; instead we needed to take them from our room. Having chairs for the beach would be nice for those of us who have a rather difficult time getting up off the sand. Food at the "24" restaurant is quite good but the service is just so-so. Still, a very good hotel in a beautiful place! »
