"The communication with the host was top notch. They were available at all times. The hot tub was wonderful after biking all day. The home itself was in a nice, quiet and private location. We enjoyed the trees and the screened in porch dining. Although minimal, the kitchen had needed items. Bedrooms were very nice; however one had a much smaller bed, which we thought was to be a king when we rented. The place was very clean and the piano was wonderful for my daughter to play. It was locked, but with immediacy, became available by the hosts for us to operate. The picture of the pool was not real telling. It is located a bit from the home, although my family truly enjoyed it. Nice place, quiet, good family visit."

"Wonderful place, friendly responsive host, clean nice place, beautiful river. I underestimated how disruptive the train would be. Its tracks right past the front of the house - a stones throw away. There is a crossing nearby, so it blasts its horn as it passes which is numerous times a day… and at night. If you are a heavy sleeper I suggest that you still wear earplugs. If you have dissociate falling back to sleep after waking … it’s gonna be tough."

"When we arrived, we were assigned a cabin without a stove but the manager quickly rectified it. However, we were only supplied a small saucepan and no cooking utensils. We did have dishes, an oven mitt, one mixing bowl, silverware, and mugs and cups. The shower had 2 settings: ice cold or scalding hot. Not a big deal for me but I was traveling with a toddler and she got burned as the water turned from cold to hot in an instant. There was a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the entrance door. This was of concern to me both for safety and because the cool air went right out it. The playground was poorly kept and the baby swing's buckle was broken. Not a huge deal for my toddler because she knows to hold on but a smaller or less playground experienced child would not be able to safely swing. The slide is from the 80's and got very hot during the day and is at a slope that rocketed my kid down at jet speed. She did hit her head the first time going down so I had to catch her every time after to avoid injury. No other amenities were open besides the horseshoe pit, which was not a good option to play for us. The path to walk and look at the lake was overgrown with poison oak so if you go down there, wear long pants. This is a no smoking or vaping property, period. I didn't know this and had to walk up to the entrance right by the busy road. I had a service animal with me and while I didn't have to pay the nightly price, I did have to pay a cleaning fee. Overall not great, but okay."
