Dean Creek Elk Viewing Area Tours and Activities

It was incredibly warm in the rooms due to no AC but I couldn’t blame the motel for that, I just assumed and didn’t check the list of things the motel offered. Other than that the property was beautiful, quiet, and the front desk staff was really nice and made sure to give us all her favorite places to see and a list of restaurants! We didn’t have to search for a thing. She asked what we liked and had a list ready off the top of her head!

While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's). It was fun to try and figure out what these items were used for back in the day. They have WiFi, a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave so you're not back in the 1900's yourself. It's an interesting mix of eclectic, nostalgic, and quaint. Very nice!

Best hotel of our entire 3-week road trip! This was the last stop of our three-week road trip, and honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better place to finish it. After staying at around 20 different hotels along the way, The Florentine Waterfront Hotel easily took the #1 spot for us. Everything about our stay was excellent — beautiful property, great location, very clean and comfortable, and just an amazing atmosphere. After being on the road for three weeks, this was exactly the kind of place we wanted for our final stop. We stayed at many great hotels during this trip, but this one really stood out. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. A perfect ending to an unforgettable road trip! 5/5.
